Procurement Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Procurement Manager with over 10 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation. The ideal candidate will lead procurement operations, optimize supplier relationships, and ensure cost-effective acquisition of goods and services while maintaining quality and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Procurement & Sourcing

Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.

Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers to secure high-quality products and services at competitive costs.

Lead global and local sourcing initiatives to diversify supply chains and reduce risks.

Contract Management & Negotiation

Negotiate long-term agreements, service-level contracts, and pricing models with vendors.

Ensure contracts meet legal, ethical, and organizational requirements.

Manage vendor disputes, renewals, and compliance obligations.

Supplier Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong partnerships with key suppliers.

Conduct supplier performance evaluations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Develop supplier risk mitigation strategies.

Financial & Cost Control

Develop and manage procurement budgets, delivering measurable cost savings.

Analyze spend data and implement cost optimization programs.

Collaborate with finance and operations to improve working capital efficiency.

Process & Technology Optimization

Implement digital procurement tools (ERP, SAP Ariba, Oracle, Coupa, etc.) to improve visibility and automation.

Establish best practices and standard operating procedures for procurement processes.

Drive innovation and sustainable sourcing practices.

Leadership & Collaboration

Lead and mentor a team of procurement officers and specialists.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, supply chain, legal, and operations) to align procurement with business needs.

Provide regular reports and insights to senior management.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).

Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, or CSCP are an added advantage.

10+ years of progressive procurement experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.

Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and contract management.

Proven success in cost reduction, vendor consolidation, and procurement transformation initiatives.

Advanced knowledge of procurement tools and ERP systems.

Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
