Core Responsibilities Grow Antler’s visibility & reach : Drive content creation, partnerships, events, and marketing initiatives to build Antler’s presence in Kenya and East Africa Own Antler’s event calendar, including planning, content preparations, and execution Promote Antler at relevant workshops, events, and gatherings Build and lead relationships with relevant communities and Universities Drive Antler’s scouting activities for top-notch founders : Identify and engage high-potential founders through outreach, events, partnerships, and community building Manage the founder selection process end to end, including founder / startup application screening, interviewing, and onboarding Lead and coach a strong team of first-round interviewers Continuously improve Antler’s founder selection processes and frameworks Residency support : Support founders during the Antler residency, with special attention to critical areas such as co-founder matching and team formation Lead select masterclasses during the residency Assist with other matters as required and as they occur Core Expertise 5-10 years of work experience in a fast paced, high-performance culture First-hand startup experience, either in a founder or senior team role Previous experience from management consulting and / or investing is a plus Minimum bachelor’s degree from an accredited University Core Attributes Well-connected in the local startup ecosystem Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Independent and proactive with a focus on execution and results orientation Comfortable with ambiguity, quick changes, tight deadlines, and moving targets The Antler Proposition Support founders in building the next generation of disruptive companies that will define the next wave of tech in Africa and beyond An opportunity to build investment track record and enter VC An opportunity to greatly impact the direction and success of Antler in Africa Practicalities Location : Nairobi, Kenya Renumeration : To be discussed based on candidate’s experiences Start date : ASAP Powered by JazzHR
