Senior Research Scientist

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Research Scientist with over 10 years of expertise in scientific research and development. The role involves leading research initiatives, designing and executing experiments, publishing findings, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive scientific discovery and application. The ideal candidate will have a strong publication record, deep subject-matter expertise, and proven leadership in advancing research projects from concept to implementation.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the design, execution, and analysis of complex research projects.

Develop new methodologies, technologies, or approaches to address scientific challenges.

Publish high-impact research papers, patents, and technical reports.

Secure research funding through grant proposals, partnerships, or collaborations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, academic institutions, and industry partners.

Mentor and supervise junior researchers, scientists, and graduate students.

Present research findings at national and international conferences.

Translate research outcomes into practical applications, products, or policy recommendations.

Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and advancements in the field.

Qualifications :

PhD in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Biotechnology, Data Science, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field).

10+ years of professional research experience with a track record of high-quality publications and / or patents.

Demonstrated success in securing research grants and funding.

Advanced knowledge of research methodologies, experimental design, and data analysis.

Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

Excellent communication and scientific writing skills.

Preferred Skills :

Experience leading multidisciplinary research teams.

Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS), advanced statistical software, or modeling tools.

Strong industry, academic, or government research network.

Ability to bridge research with practical applications for industry or society.
