Cloud Engineer

Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud Engineer with over 10 years of experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure. The role involves developing secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions that drive business innovation. The ideal candidate has expertise across major cloud platforms, with a strong background in automation, DevOps, and cloud security.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Implement cloud migration strategies for applications and workloads.

Optimize cloud resources for cost, performance, and scalability.

Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

Manage CI / CD pipelines for cloud-native applications.

Ensure compliance with security best practices and regulatory frameworks.

Monitor cloud performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.

Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and IT teams on cloud integration.

Maintain disaster recovery and backup solutions.

Research and recommend emerging cloud technologies.

Qualifications & Skills :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master’s preferred).

10+ years of professional experience in IT, with at least 5+ years in cloud engineering.

Deep expertise in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) with certifications preferred.

Strong experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Knowledge of networking, virtualization, storage, and cloud security principles.

Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools.

Strong understanding of DevOps, CI / CD pipelines, and monitoring tools.

Familiarity with databases, APIs, and serverless architectures.

Certifications preferred : AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, Google Professional Cloud Engineer, Kubernetes (CKA / CKAD).

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
