The Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Medical Billing Expert to join our paediatric clinic. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in the U.S. healthcare market, with at least 4 years specifically working in paediatric practices. The role requires deep expertise in medical billing, credentialing, and insurance processes, with a strong focus on paediatrics, including vaccines and VFC vaccinations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage the full cycle of medical billing and coding for paediatric services, ensuring accurate and timely submission of claims.
  • Review and submit claims using eClinicalWorks and TriZetto clearinghouse , ensuring compliance with payer requirements.
  • Ensure correct coding for paediatric services, including familiarity with CPT, ICD, and modifier codes relevant to paediatrics.
  • Process and track Medicaid claims, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Handle billing and coding for paediatric vaccinations, including VFC vaccinations and VaxCare processes.
  • Assist with credentialing of doctors with insurance providers, ensuring all necessary documentation and requirements are met.
  • Stay updated on changes in coding, billing regulations, and insurance policies, especially for paediatric practices.
  • Communicate effectively with insurance providers, healthcare professionals, and clinic staff to resolve billing issues.
  • Maintain thorough and organized billing records, ensuring compliance with privacy and confidentiality regulations.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to clinic staff on billing procedures and updates.

Ideal Profile

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the U.S. healthcare market, with at least 4 years in paediatric practices.
  • Proven experience with eClinicalWorks and TriZetto clearinghouse .
  • Strong understanding of paediatric CPT codes , ICD codes , and modifiers.
  • Extensive knowledge of Medicaid processes and billing requirements.
  • Knowledge of VFC vaccinations and VaxCare handling.
  • Experience with credentialing physicians with insurance providers.
  • Exceptional command of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex billing issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
