Role Overview Summary
To implement project activities at the field level as per the project plan in alignment with VSO’s volunteering for development (VfD) approach and global implementation standards. This role will be contributing to the successful delivery of the project to achieve VSO’s vision of a fair world for everyone.
Ideal Applicant Summary
Qualification in Livelihoods, Social Development, Project Management (PMD Pro, PRINCE II, PMP) or equivalent. Knowledge of global volunteer standards. Experience in project administration and field implementation with sectoral expertise in livelihoods. Background in social sciences, environmental studies, or entrepreneurship preferred. Proven experience in youth empowerment, enterprise acceleration, and incubation, particularly in informal settlements and the circular economy. Skills in project budget administration, community-led and rights-based approaches, stakeholder collaboration, capacity development, and application of participatory, risk, and gender analysis tools are desirable.
