One Mission SocietyKenyaServe alongside our team in Nairobi, Kenya, by helping with sports ministries and encouraging youth to follow Christ. You will be working closely with OMS ministry partners including churches, a public school, and a potential short-term mission team that visits from the US. You will also be helping to facilitate dynamic and engaging Bible Camps for elementary, middle, and high schools. This will involve sharing Bible stories and activities with at-risk children impacted by poverty and / or incarceration, and engaging in dynamic, recreational activities that include evangelism and discipleship.
Skills
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Some college education preferred.
- Comfortable sharing and talking with others.
- Able to relax and have fun in varied environments.
- Creativity and adaptability.
- Interest in working with children and youth.
- Basic Swahili ability is strongly encouraged, but not required.
Other Information
During your time with Embark, you will serve with One Mission Society missionaries, build relationships with youth and young adults, receive mentorship from experienced missionaries, expand and hone your skill set, and grow in your ministry approach to evangelism, discipleship, missions and communicating your testimony.
