CNC Operator

Job Title: CNC Operator Location: Enterprise Road, Nairobi Employment Type: Full-Time Gross Salary: KES 50,000 per month Job Overview Our client is seeking to hire a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator to manage CNC programming and machine operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings, preparing cutting programs, operating CNC machinery, and ensuring accurate, high-quality production. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with AlphaCAM and ArtCAM , strong technical drawing interpretation skills, and practical experience in cabinetry, furniture manufacturing, interior fit-outs or a related production environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and create CNC cutting programs using AlphaCAM and ArtCAM . Interpret technical drawings, designs, and production specifications. Convert designs into accurate, machine-ready CNC programs. Operate CNC machinery safely and efficiently. Monitor cutting processes and ensure accuracy and quality of finished products. Optimize material usage and minimize production wastage. Conduct routine machine checks and report maintenance requirements. Work closely with design and production teams to meet project timelines. Maintain accurate production and machine operation records. Follow all company safety procedures and production standards. Required Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 3 years p roven experience operating CNC machines. Proficiency in AlphaCAM and ArtCAM . Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and translate designs into CNC programs. Practical understanding of CNC programming, cutting, and machine operation. Experience in cabinetry, furniture manufacturing, interior fit-outs, or related production environments is an added advantage. Good understanding of production processes and material optimization. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
