Purpose of the Role

The Property Management Associate will play a key role in ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, and strategic growth of the company’s property portfolio. They will focus on maximizing property value and tenant satisfaction while maintaining high standards of efficiency, compliance, and service delivery. The role also involves supporting short-term rental (Airbnb) management, overseeing property handovers and snagging processes, and coordinating interior furnishing projects to ensure properties are tenant-ready and aesthetically aligned with brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

Property Management & Maintenance

Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of both long-term and short-term (Airbnb) properties under management.

Develop and implement property management policies, procedures, and best practices.

Coordinate with contractors and service providers to ensure timely repairs, maintenance, and renovations.

Supervise property handovers, snagging inspections, and ensure issues are addressed prior to occupancy.

Oversee interior furnishing and fit-out processes to ensure functionality, quality, and aesthetic consistency.

Conduct regular property inspections to uphold high standards of safety, cleanliness, and compliance with regulations.

Tenant & Guest Management

Manage tenant onboarding, lease agreements, renewals, and guest check-in / check-out processes for Airbnb properties.

Address tenant and guest concerns promptly to ensure high satisfaction levels.

Develop strategies to minimize vacancies and optimize both rental and short-term occupancy income.

Enforce lease terms and handle disputes or conflicts professionally.

Strategic Leadership & Administration

Provide decision-making on operational and strategic property management matters.

Analyze market trends and property performance to recommend enhancements or cost-saving measures.

Manage property budgets, including income, expenses, and profitability targets.

Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Key Requirements

Background & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Property Management, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.

2 years of experience in property management.

Experience managing Airbnb or short-term rental properties is highly desirable.

Experience working in a startup or similarly dynamic environment is a plus.

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of property maintenance, tenant / guest management, and regulatory requirements.

Experience overseeing property handovers, snagging, and furnishing coordination.

Proficiency in property management software and CRM tools.

Proven ability to manage multiple properties and teams effectively.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
