Responsibility
- Sales & Revenue : Present CMIs brand to Southern Africa’s carrier players. Manage relation with clients, acquire RFP invites, present feasible and competitive solutions, approach bid until seal deals. Understand own network capability as well as resale in wholesale Telecom market. Business scopes cover capacity, IP Transit, IP-VPN, Internet, Colocation, Roaming, Mobile (voice trading exclusive) in MEA region.
- Business Development : Explore new business opportunities and forge relations with target clients by networking and presenting of CMI’s service and capability. Develop new carrier to carrier sales opportunities from allocated African carrier clients.
- Relationship Management : Primary contact point to carrier partners / clients, interface and organize all commercial events and social interactions requested by / to partners / clients.
- Commercial Marketing Strategy : Carry out regular market research and help contribute intelligence into pricing functions. Coordinating with multiple internal departments to position CMI’s product and ensure the customers required needs are met in time.
- Compliance : Manage contracts with carrier partner / clients. Ensure all of the internal sales process being done as per company polices and prepare reports to supervisor and senior management.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or above in a related field from a reputable UniversityMinimum 8 years of sales in telecom industry, at least 5-years hands-on sales experience in carrier or wholesale telecom market.Strong understanding of the wholesale telecom market in the Southern Africa Region.Excellent leadership and coaching skills.Techno-commercial experience : ability to understand technical products and their commercial makeup in buying and selling and contract formulation.Account management and Sales skills – Hunting and Farming.Accounting and finance : Above average understanding of financial terms like P&L statements, GP and EBITDA.Understanding of local tax regulations and policy in the region.
