Draughtsman
Job Specification / Purpose :
- As The draughtsman you will be developing design drawings for LPG cylinders and related components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and manufacturing feasibility. The role is preparing detailed engineering drawings, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and optimizing designs for efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Designing & Developing
Creating 3D models and 2D technical drawings for LPG cylinders, components, and production tools using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent).Developing new product designs and enhancing existing designs based on performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.Ensuring all designs are complying with ISO : , ISO : , ISO : , and LPG industry regulations (e.g., EN , DOT, or equivalent).Providing Technical Support & Collaborating
Working closely with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure design to ensure manufactured cylinders comply with required specifications.Providing technical support to production, procurement, and quality control teams regarding design specifications and material selection.Reviewing and analyzing design-related issues from production and recommending modifications to improve efficiency and product durability.Documenting & Ensuring Compliance
Preparing and maintaining engineering documentation, including technical drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and design change records.Ensuring all design files are properly controlled and stored as per ISO quality management system requirements.Conducting risk assessments and ensuring adherence to health and safety guidelines.Innovating & Improving Continuously
Researching and implementing new materials, fabrication techniques, and cost-saving measures.Staying updated with industry advancements to enhance product quality, durability, and sustainability.
